BRUSHCRETE

Acrylic-Reinforced Cementitious Waterproof Coating
Advantages
  • A 1mm coating provides anti-carbonation cover equivalent to over 80mm of concrete.
  • Waterproof – resists up to 7 Bars (70 meter head of pressure)
  • Non-toxic, ideal for potable water uses
  • Excellent adhesion. Bonds

Brushcrete — Two-Component Acrylic Modified Cementitious Coating

Brushcrete is a two-component acrylic modified cementitious coating designed to do two jobs at once: waterproof and resurface concrete, masonry, and most other construction materials. Rather than treating waterproofing and surface repair as separate stages, Brushcrete combines both into a single applied coating — a practical advantage for contractors working on aging or damaged substrates that need protection and a renewed surface finish together.

How it works
Brushcrete arrives as two components that only require on-site mixing before application — no complex batching or specialist equipment needed. Once mixed, it can be applied by stiff brush, roller, or trowel, giving contractors flexibility to choose the method best suited to the surface and project scale. As it cures, Brushcrete forms a coating that is simultaneously waterproof, flexible, and fully trafficable, meaning treated surfaces can return to pedestrian or light-duty use once cured, without compromising the waterproofing layer underneath.

Key benefits

  • Two-component acrylic cementitious formulation — waterproofs and resurfaces in one application
  • Simple on-site mixing, no specialist equipment required
  • Flexible application: stiff brush, roller, or trowel
  • Cures into a waterproof, flexible, and trafficable finish
  • Effective barrier against waterborne salts and atmospheric gases

Where it’s used
Brushcrete is well suited to concrete and masonry surfaces that need both structural resurfacing and reliable waterproofing — this includes aging concrete substrates, retaining walls, parapets, and general construction surfaces exposed to weathering, waterborne salts, and atmospheric pollutants. Its trafficable finish also makes it a practical choice for surfaces that need to stay in use, such as walkways and terraces, once the coating has cured.

Why it matters for your project
Waterborne salts and atmospheric gases are common causes of long-term concrete degradation, particularly in coastal or industrial environments. Brushcrete’s acrylic cementitious barrier is formulated specifically to resist that ongoing chemical attack while doubling as a resurfacing layer — a dependable cementitious waterproofing coating choice for contractors across Malaysia handling refurbishment and new construction alike.
